Scene cleared after crash shuts down 2 of 3 lanes of I-40 in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Two lanes of Interstate 40 east were closed after a crash early Friday morning, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation. The lanes have since reopened.

NCDOT reports that the incident began at about 5:56 a.m.

Two out of three lanes were closed near Exit 221 for South Elm Eugene Street.
