Randolph County deputy tests positive for COVID-19


RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A Randolph County sheriff’s deputy tested positive for COVID-19, Sheriff Greg Seabolt confirmed on Thursday evening.

The deputy worked a back door at the Randolph County Courthouse.

Seabolt said the deputy is about ready to come back to work but has not yet been allowed to.

Seabolt did not say when the deputy tested positive.
