Piney Creek Elementary School in Alleghany County moving to remote learning due to rise in COVID cases


ALLEGHANY COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Piney Creek Elementary School is set to move to remote learning on Monday, according to Alleghany County Schools.

The move to remote learning is due to a rise in COVID cases among the school’s faculty, staff and students.

Students will return to in-person learning on Monday, Dec. 6.
