COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado man claiming to be ‘Jesus’ stabbed a man that he believed to be ‘the devil’ Wednesday afternoon.

The incident allegedly occurred around 1 p.m. when a man who said he was Jesus Christ stabbed the victim, KKTV reports.

“Seems an individual went off and claimed to be Jesus Christ stabbing the victim, claiming he was the devil,” witness Andrew Morgado told KKTV.

Authorities detained the suspect and the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Neither of the identities has been released.

“The big guy started saying, ‘I’m going to die!'” witness Susie Ann Cordova told KKTV. “The other guy that stabbed him kept saying, ‘You shouldn’t have hurt me! You shouldn’t have hurt me!'”
