Coast Guard searching for cruise ship passenger who reportedly fell overboard

The Coast Guard is searching for a woman who reportedly fell overboard from the Carnival Ecstacy cruise ship early Wednesday morning, WCSC reported.

The incident occurred approximately 27 miles southwest of Freeport, Bahamas, according to a release from the Coast Guard.

A 32-year-old woman was reportedly seen falling overboard at approximately 2:30 a.m. Wednesday from the 11th deck.

The woman’s identity has not been released.
