GREENSBORO, N.C. — After four years of being wanted for alleged sex crimes against a child, a Greensboro man is in jail.

Timothy Eddie Striblin, 35, was arrested Monday at a home in the 1700 block of Trogdon Street.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, the warrant that led to his arrest originated in 2011. Striblin is charged with raping a 13, 14 or 15-year-old by someone six years older than the victim, indecent liberties with a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Susan Danielsen, a spokeswoman for the department, said it appears Striblin left the area for a few years making it difficult to track him down.

Arrest documents show that Striblin also failed to appear in court in 2008 and 2010 on other charges. He’s being held in lieu of a $101,500 secured bond.
