CLEMMONS, N.C. – Check out this giant American flag flying over Clemmons for the anniversary of Sept. 11.

The Clemmons Fire Department flew the giant flag throughout the day Friday to honor the nearly 3,000 people killed during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The fire department flew the flag near the WinMock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run. It will later head to a local high school for their homecoming.
