GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 1,300 people came out for a charity basketball game in Greensboro Friday night.

The event at Northwest Guilford High School was held in memory of Melissa and Jaiden Britt, who were killed over Memorial Day weekend in a High Rock Lake boating accident.

Melissa’s husband, Clay Britt, survived the accident and played in the game along with former Carolina players Kendall Marshall and Reggie Bullock.

The game brought in more than $6500 which will be donated to Jaiden’s preschool at Muirs Chapel United Methodist.
