Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly recently surprised one of his biggest fans.

Jessica Hayes, 21, has cerebral palsy, autism, cortical blindness and hydrocephalus, which is an excessive accumulation of fluid in the brain, according to WBTV.

When her mom asked what she wanted for her birthday Hayes said her dream was, “to meet Carolina Panthers player Luke Kuechly and give him one of my famous hugs.”

At her 21st birthday party on Friday, Hayes was excited to dance from her wheelchair and hang out with her friends. What she didn’t know, however, was that Kuechly was coming to surprise her thanks to Dream on 3, an organization that helps children with chronic illnesses.

“I just like to think of myself as a normal guy,” Kuechly told WBTV. “But if I can go down there and make her happy for her birthday, makes it fun and worth it.”

While Hayes was waiting for her party to start, she could tell something was going on.

Then, to her surprise Kuechly came out with flowers and said, “Hey Jessica! How are you? I hear you give famous hugs.”

Hayes gave Kuechly one of her famous hugs before they got into a limousine and headed to her party in uptown Charlotte.
