CANDOR, N.C. — The Candor Town Board of Commissioners in a 4-1 vote Monday evening decided to rehire three of the town’s four previously fired police officers.

The rehired officers include Chief Randy White, Sgt. James Pierce and Patrol Officer Jeremy Blake.

The fourth officer who was previously fired is currently employed elsewhere, a town spokesperson said.

The rehired officers will return to their jobs on July 1.  The spokesperson said they will have the same salary as before.
