Missing Burlington teen located, returned to family

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Officers with the Burlington Police Department are searching for a teen who they believe may have been abducted.

Police were called to 1709 Hilton Road in Burlington Monday night at 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers determined that 13-year-old Viney Aranba had not been seen since 5 a.m.

Officers believe she may be with 24-year-old Ramiro Trinidan Osorio, of East Elm Street in Graham. The two may be traveling in a purple Mitsubishi Eclipse with the Virginia license plate VDA-9764.

Warrants have been obtained for Osorio for one count of abduction of a child.

Viney is described as a Hispanic female with dark brown eyes, black hair and a scar on her right cheek. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 95 pounds.
