Burlington police are looking for two men in connection to an armed robbery, one suspect identified

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police are looking for two men in connection to an armed robbery that happened just be fore midnight, Tuesday.

Two victims were approached by the suspects in the parking lot of Forest Oaks Apartments on the 400 block of Williamson Street.

After a brief conversation, the two men pulled out a handgun and demanded money, car keys and a cell phone from one of the victims.

The suspects then fled on foot.

One of the victims followed the suspects in his car to the 1900 block of Belmont Street.

The suspects then fired several shots at the victims, striking the vehicle.

Police said the suspects were last seen running south on the 1900 block of Belmont Street toward Albany Street and then getting into a small, black sedan.

One of the suspects was identified by police as Nathaniel Davis, 28. Police have a warrant out for his arrest. The second suspect has not been identified.
