Burlington man sought in bank robbery

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man is sought in connection with a bank robbery that happened Tuesday morning in Burlington.

Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, a man robbed Carter Bank and Trust at 106 South Broad St. in Burlington.

The suspect approached the teller and produced a note demanding money.The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of cash and the suspect left the business.

Police are now searching for Paul Elarence Baldwin, 56, of 408 New Street.
