ELON, N.C.—Police have arrested and charged a Certified Nursing Assistant after the suspect stole items from a client’s home.
Kimberly Lynn Dutcher, 31, of 907 East Haggard Avenue, was arrested on Thursday after police found stolen items Dutcher sold to local pawnshops.
The victim, who lives on Crosby Drive in Burlington, contacted police on Sunday, June 3, after noticing items had gone missing from the home.
According to Police, between May 13 and June 1, Dutcher stole jewelry, cash, medication and a firearm while providing care for one of the victim’s sick family members.
Dutcher has been charged with felonious larceny of a firearm, obtaining property by false pretense and felonious larceny.
Dutcher has been place in the Alamance County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond.
Police believe that it is possible that additional victims may come forward.
