HENRY COUNTY, Va. — Henry County deputies are investigating the deaths of two brothers whose bodies were found seven miles and seven hours apart as homicides.
Deputies said 40-year-old Alfonso Navarro-Pena and 33-year-old Noel Navarro-Pena both appeared to have single gunshot wounds.
Deputies said Alfonso Navarro-Pena was discovered around 11:15 p.m. Friday at a crash near a home in Axton. Officials said he was driving a Ford F-150 at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Noel Navarro-Pena’s body was found shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot in Axton, according to deputies.
The two shared a home together in Axton. Deputies said they executed a search warrant and found marijuana, cocaine, firearms and about $28,000.
