WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Light rain didn’t dampen an enthusiasm for craft beers as Twin City Taps celebrated its second beer festival Saturday at Ziggy’s.

The Winston-Salem Journal reported that local, out-of-town and home brewers participated, setting up canopies at the downtown club for the festival crowd.

“This is our first festival this year,” said Kevin Sandefur, one of the owners of Headwaters Brewing Co. in Waynesville, according to The Journal.

Sandefur said Headwaters has been up and running for three months.

“We have eight beers on tap in our tasting room, and we brought three of them here,” Sandefur said, according to The Winston-Salem Journal. “Today the most popular seems to be the White Water hefeweizen because it is light and it is warm outside.”
