Brad Paisley is dedicating a new song to the North Carolina-based doctor with Ebola after the doctor gave a serum treatment to his friend.

Paisley tweeted about Dr. Kent Brantly on Saturday, saying he was moved by his actions.

Brantly requested that an experimental serum for treating Ebola be given to his colleague Nancy Writebol, a Charlotte missionary.

The two contacted the serious disease while working in Liberia. Brantly is a doctor for the Boone-based Samaritan’s Purse.

Brantly was flown into Georgia on Saturday and is undergoing treatment in an isolation unit at Emory University Hospital.

Writebol is planned to be flown in later this week for treatment. Brantly’s condition is said to be improving.
