TRINITY, N.C. — Randolph County deputies have identified a body discovered in a Trinity house fire on Thursday night.

Deputies said the body of 23-year-old Patrick Lee Yetman of Trinity was found by firefighters while responding to a fire at 5614 Parinna Drive.

Authorities said the fire was reported around 11 p.m. and the body was found inside the house while the blaze was being extinguished.

Deputies said the house was not being rented and was believed to be vacant. They said it appears the man may have been sleeping there for the past two to three nights.

Investigators did not release a cause of the fire, but said it appears accidental in nature and no foul play is suspected.
