GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say human remains were found behind a church Friday morning in Greensboro. 

Greensboro police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said officers were called to God’s House of Deliverance Church at 1212 Randolph St. shortly after 10:15 a.m. 

The body has not been identified and information about race, age and sex cannot be released at this time, Danielsen said. 

While police have not yet said how the person died, they are calling the death “suspicious.”

No other details were immediately available.
