BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. — A suspected bat disrupted a high school basketball game in North Carolina, causing chaos on the court, according to WWAY.

The TV station reported that it happened Friday night during a West Bladen-Southwest Onslow game at West Bladen High School in Bladenboro.

Someone with a broom apparently knocked the bat out of the air and it was removed from the court. The game eventually resumed.

A similar incident happened earlier this month when a rivalry game had to be moved to another location after a custodian reportedly saw bats in the gym.
