BURLINGTON, N.C. — Multiple people were injured in a crash in Burlington on Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from Burlington police.
The wreck happened at Maple Avenue and South Anthony Road.
The driver of a 2009 Toyota Corolla failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of a 1993 Ford Econoline van.
The Toyota received significant passenger-side damage that required Alamance Rescue to extract the passengers before they could be transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was cited for failure to yield right of way and no operator’s license.
The wreck caused significant damage to the fence of Michael’s Used Cars.
