WILMINGTON, N.C. — Police say an argument between two women outside of a Wilmington nail salon escalated into gunfire Monday afternoon.
WECT reported that the incident happened around 1:10 p.m. at the Food Lion shopping center located in the 1900 block of Oleander Drive.
The owner of NC Nails told The Wilmington Star News that he told the two women to leave the salon when they started fighting. Minutes later, shots were fired.
Officers said the female suspect pulled out a gun and shot the passenger side window of the victim’s silver Hyundai.
