SACRAMENTO — Spencer Stone, the Sacramento native credited with helping stop a shooting on a train to France was stabbed early Thursday morning in Midtown Sacramento, reported FOX40.

Stone’s injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.

A law enforcement source confirmed to FOX40 that Stone was stabbed outside a bar near 21st and K street. A small blood stain was seen outside the Faces nightclub.

Investigators say a group of men were leaving the bar when they got into some sort of fight. Sources say Stone was defending a friend when he was stabbed three times in the upper torso.

Police said no arrests had been made Thursday morning. Investigators said the incident was not at all related to any terrorist act.
