Amazon Prime subscription price to drop on Friday

On Friday, Amazon will lower it’s $99 a year price for Amazon Prime to $79.

Amazon Prime members most notably receive perks such as two-day shipping, photo storage through Prime Photos and access to Prime Music and Prime Video, according to the Business Insider.

The one-day deal is set to last from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Additional perks of an Amazon Prime membership include:

  • Unlimited reading on any device, including access to books, magazines and comics.
  • Unlimited listening to original audio series from Audible.
  • Free game content each month and exclusive discounts on new video games through Twitch Prime.
  • 30-minute early access to select Amazon Lightning Deals.
