RUTLAND, Vermont — Police have arrested a man accused of driving drunk while playing Pokemon Go on his smartphone and causing a crash.

NECN reported that Nicholas Coccia, 21, has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence after allegedly crashing Sunday morning in Rutland, Vermont. There is no word on any injuries.

After crashing at an intersection at about 8 a.m., police said the suspect told them he had been “hunting Pokemon.” Officers said he claims was distracted by his phone and the game.

Coccia blew a .2 on a breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit of .08, according to MyChamplainValley.com. He’s due in court next month.
