DMV services restored after interruption

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Internet services for all North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicle office locations have been restored. Officials anticipate that regular services will be available Thursday morning at normal business hours.

All DMV services statewide were suspended Wednesday after officials said there was a major cut in the fiber optic cable between Raleigh and Charlotte.
