ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — An Alamance County man was arrested on Tuesday on child abuse charges, according to Randy Jones with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Jonathan David Dunn, 38, is charged with assault on a child under the age of 12 and misdemeanor child abuse.

Jones said the warrants were issued following an investigation that started in February after reports from both the school system and the Alamance County Department of Social Services.

Dunn was arrested without incident and placed in the Alamance County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
