Air care on the way to treat male patient after hang glider crashes in Lexington, officials say

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Air care responded after a hang glider crash in Lexington on Sunday, according to Davidson County officials.

The ultralight glider crashed around Tussey Road on a golf course.

A Lexington man in his 60s was taken to a hospital. The extent of the patient’s injuries is unknown at this time.

Troopers plan to remove the glider from the tree on Monday.
