SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. — A viral video of a 5-year-old girl dancing her heart out to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” is winning the hearts of many — and it’s all for a special cause.

Rilee Thurber’s mom is hoping this video will help people understand dwarfism.

In a video posted on Facebook, Rilee shows off her dance moves while lip-syncing to the song.

Angela Thurber shared information about her daughter’s dwarfism, known as achondroplasia.

She noted that October was dwarfism awareness month, and encouraged others to share the video.

After seeing how many times the video was shared, Thurber decided to create another Facebook page called “Smiles from Rilee” in hopes of educating others on dwarfism.

Rilee is 32 inches tall, but her height doesn’t stop her from participating in her favorite activities.

She loves dancing, playing with her 10-year-old brother, Jacob, and, of course, she loves Taylor Swift.
