CLEMMONS, N.C. -- For the Reickard family of Clemmons, every day feels like a new kind of busy.

Chad and Kristen Reickard have five children from four different countries, ranging in ages 4 to 14.

Their oldest Elliana was born in the United States, J.J. joined the family from South Korea, Aria is from China, and just this summer-- after nearly four years of paperwork -- Jessamina and Kai arrived from Haiti.

Even after four adoptions, Chad and Kristin are hardly experts on the process. Because each country has its own unique adoption laws and paperwork, the couple has had to learn as they go.
