Power restored after accident at N. Spring St., W. Friendly Ave.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — North Spring Street and West Friendly Avenue were blocked Wednesday evening after an automobile accident that resulted in low hanging power lines.

According to the Duke Energy Outage Map, as of 6:15 p.m. power has been restored for over 800 customers that were without power in the vicinity of the accident.

Preliminary reports indicate a black truck struck a utility pole after being struck by a car, according to the Greensboro Police Department. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.
