A year later, still no suspects in High Point teen’s death

A year after Dorien Daymon Jackson was found dead in Lake Townsend, police are still searching for suspects.

Jackson, 18, of 1129 Tangle Road in High Point, was reported missing by his family on Jan. 10, 2013. His body was found by a fisherman on March 3.

An autopsy report revealed he was shot in the back of the neck.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the people involved in Jackson’s death. The governor’s office has offered a $5,000 reward in connection to Jackson’s shooting death.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Greensboro Police Department at 336-373-2255, the State Bureau of Investigation, or Crime Stoppers.
