7-year-old NC girl shot in back, arm in overnight Raleigh shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 7-year-old girl was shot twice overnight in Raleigh, according to WTVD.

The girl suffered gunshots to the arm and back on the 2800 block of Herndon Village Way on Sunday night.

After the shooting, the child was taken to a hospital. She is expected to live.

WTVD reports that the girl was outside as shots were fired in a nearby neighborhood street.
