65-year-old Greensboro man found shot in crashed car dies

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 65-year-old Greensboro man whose car crashed into a building after being shot on Nov. 7 died Thursday.

Around 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 7, officers responded to a vehicle crash that occurred at 200 W. Gate City Blvd., according to a press release. Upon arrival, they discovered Michael Anthony Colemen, of Greensboro, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Further investigation revealed that Coleman was initially robbed and shot in the 1200 block of Randolph Avenue, police say. When he tried to drive himself to the hospital, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

A suspect has yet to be identified and the investigation is ongoing.
