5-year-old finds meth in plastic egg

LIMAVADY, Northern Ireland — A 5-year-old boy in Northern Ireland found meth in the toy he was playing with.

The Belfast Telegraph reported  that the unnamed boy was playing with his 8-year-old brother when he saw the yellow plastic shell of a Kinder Surprise egg, a popular toy across the world that consists of a plastic egg covered in chocolate that usually contains a toy inside.

When the boy opened the egg, a bag with white powder came out.

Inspector Colin Shaw, of Limavady’s Police Service of Northern Ireland, said the contents and the egg would be disposed of by police.
