ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. -- Southern Alamance High School senior Dillion Price says cyberbullies attacked him for years, making fun of his size and sexuality.

His mother, Angela Kelley, says she saw the cruel online comments and what her son was going through and decided to contact law enforcement.

“I feel like he was just trying to fit in and the group he was trying to fit in with just used him as a punching bag,” she said of her 17-year-old son.

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office has since arrested four teens and a juvenile and charged them with cyberbullying.

Authorities say three of the bullies have gone through the court ordered class as part of their punishment and one of the accused is still going through the court system.

FOX8 spoke off camera to one of the alleged bullies. He says he got dragged into it and wants to put it all behind him.

As part of their punishment, the alleged cyberbullies are banned from using social media including Facebook for one year.
