At least 42 people have died in a collision in southern France between a bus and a truck, according to a local government spokesman.
“It was a bus carrying elderly people,” the spokesman, Mael Gohaud, said. “There are five people who are injured, and three people safe,” he said.
Reuters called the crash France’s worst road crash in more than 30 years.
