LOS ANGELES — Thirty people were believed to be injured and the eastbound 60 Freeway was closed after two big rigs and a tour bus crashed in Hacienda Heights Wednesday morning, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.

The crash occurred near the eastbound 60 Freeway and Seventh Avenue around 9:40 a.m.

Of those wounded, 20 were considered “walking wounded,” fire Capt. Keith Mora said.

Those 20 were able to exit their vehicles and appeared to have scrapes, bumps and bruises, he said.

Ten others were being assessed. It was unclear if they would all be hospitalized.
