2 sought for armed robbery of Winston-Salem business

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are searching for two men accused of robbing a Winston-Salem business at gunpoint.

Officers responded to 1921 Silas Creek Parkway at 11:17 a.m. Monday in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two suspects entered Textbook Brokers, one armed with a handgun, and demanded that the clerk open the cash register.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of currency and fled the scene on foot southeast toward Lockland Avenue.

The suspects were seen getting into a blue and gray four-door vehicle and driving east on Link Road toward Peters Creek Parkway.
