2 sought for armed robbery of Winston-Salem business center

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are searching for two men accused of robbing Main Street Business Center in Winston-Salem.

According to Winston-Salem police, officers responded to 3500 S. Main St. at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday in reference to an armed robbery.

Officers learned that two suspects entered the business, produced handguns and proceeded to force the workers onto the floor.

One clerk was forced to open the safe where an undisclosed amount of money was taken, Winston-Salem police said.

The suspects then robbed two patrons that were in the business of personal items before fleeing the scene, Winston-Salem police said.

This is the second armed robbery of a business center in two days.
