WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Old Salisbury Road in Winston-Salem on Wednesday.

The accident happened in the 3000 block of Old Salisbury Road at 1:59 p.m. Wednesday. The accident involved a small car and a van that collided head-on, according to Winston-Salem police.
According to Forsyth County EMS, two people were killed and two others were transported to a local hospital.
There is no word on if the accident was weather-related and the identities of the deceased have not been released.
Old Salisbury Road is closed between Darwick Road and Greenhouse Road, according to the City of Winston-Salem.
