2 injured when school bus collides with car in Rowan Co.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Two people were injured when a school bus collided with a car in Rowan County Tuesday morning.

The accident happened on Woodleaf Road.

According to WSOC, one person from the car was taken to Rowan Regional Hospital and is being airlifted to another hospital.

Rowan County Schools officials said the bus had 28 fourth-graders returning to school after seeing play in Salisbury.

Six students complained of injury and one was treated at scene.
