WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two people were injured in a crash in Winston-Salem Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to Grandview Club Road at Rock Hill Road at 3:57 p.m. in reference to the crash.
It was determined that a Honda Civic operated by Julia Nicole Guarantano, 17, of Winston-Salem, was traveling eastbound on Rock Hill Road and a Jeep Cherokee operated by William Virgil Brewer Jr., 68, of Pfafftown, was traveling southbound on Grandview Club Road. The collision occurred in the intersection of the two roadways.
Guarantano was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with serious injuries. Brewer was transported to Forsyth Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
