2 displaced after Winston-Salem house fire

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two adults have been displaced after a house fire in Winston-Salem.

The fire happened at 1615 Heather Trace Lane. It is now under control, according to firefighters on the scene, but the house is heavily damaged.

The two occupants of the home were not injured.

In total, 38 firefighters from 10 companies responded to the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting the two displaced occupants.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
