FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Two young children in Washington stole their mother’s SUV to go visit their grandmother.

KOMO reports the kids took their mother’s car, drove it through an intersection and crashed into another car.

Luckily, the children and the driver of the second vehicle were relatively uninjured – escaping with minor scrapes and bruises.

The Federal Way Police Department described the incident in a Facebook post on Aug. 31.

What happens when a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old want to go and visit grandma without telling anyone…..(see photos). Thank goodness no one was seriously injured when the children drove into an intersection and t-boned another vehicle.

This was one joyride they won’t soon forget.
