2 charged in 13 vehicle break-ins in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Two Thomasville teenagers were arrested Thursday on several charges following motor vehicle break-ins at numerous locations in Thomasville.

William Michael Conrady, 16, of 178 Kimberly Lane, and David Lee Hartley, 18, of 1915 Kennedy Road, Lot 14, were each charged with 13 counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle; nine counts of larceny; and one count of larceny of a firearm.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office received several reports of vehicle break-ins on Oct. 13 in Thomasville.

After investigating the sheriff’s office found enough evidence to arrest Conrady and Hartley.

Conrady was jailed with bail set at $75,000. Hartley was jailed under a $50,000 bail.

They are scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17.

Additional charges are pending, authorities said.
