2 arrested on drug charges in Asheboro, 1 wanted again after posting bail

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Police arrested two people in connection with several drug violations on Wednesday.

Detectives searched a home in the 100 block of Northwood Drive and located crack cocaine, marijuana, various prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency.

The two subjects at this residence were wanted for outstanding drug warrants, as well as probation violations.

Robert Fitzgerald Headen, 33, of Asheboro, was charged with multiple counts of drug possession and intent to sell violations. He was placed under an $180,000 secured bond.

Ahylea Michelle Willard, 23, of Asheboro, was also arrested on outstanding warrants for drug violations. She was placed under a $45,000 secured bond. Willard was able to post bond and was released. Following her release, as a result of the search of the residence on Northwood Drive, Willard is now wanted on several additional charges.
