GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ten people are in custody after Greensboro police executed five search warrants at the Heritage House apartment complex on Friday.

Police said they served the warrants around 10:30 a.m. Friday at 310 W. Meadowview Road.

Some of the charges involve selling crack cocaine, marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia.

The suspects arrested are: 46-year-old George Knotts Jr, 41-year-old Shantelle Mungo El-Saidi, 35-year-old Jason Fullwood, 40-year-old Antoine Juan Lattimore, 57-year-old Noel Timothy Wooten, 59-year-old Geraldine McClelland Bennette, 54-year-old Sheldon Lezelle Alston, 46-year-old Shawn Gerard Harrison, 35-year-old Richard Alan Jackson and 48-year-old Raymond Bruce Wilson.

Authorities said the Heritage House apartment complex had more than 1,200 police calls in 2013, about 150 of which were narcotics-related.

“We are committed to making the Heritage House a safer place for people to live,” said Captain Shon F. Barnes who commands the Southern Patrol Division. “School age children live in this building and they deserve to grow up in an environment that is drug-free. Elderly people live in this building and they deserve to live their lives in peace.”
