CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A Caldwell County man is being held on a $1 million bond after authorities say he stabbed two children and his girlfriend.
William Henry Pitts, 42, is facing two counts of attempted murder in connection with the stabbing, according to WBTV.

Officials say the stabbing happened in the Fairway Acres community of Cajahs Mountain on Wednesday night.
A 2-year-old named Henry was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
The condition of Pitts’ girlfriend, Lacy, and his infant son, William, has not been released.
Deputies say all three suffered cut wounds.
