1 injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating an incident at the 400 block of Stedman Street that sent one person to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

At about 10:47 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a single wound.

The suspects left in a gray or dark colored SUV and no other information is available.

The name and address of the victim are being temporarily withheld.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and may result in an award.
